How can I tell if the problem I am having is a bug?

Issues that only affect one of your characters or only characters on your account are usually not bugs. For example, if your client crashes while entering a certain area on one of your characters, but not for anyone else, chances are this is an issue with your WTF, Interface, and WDB folders, and can be resolved by simply going to your World of Warcraft folder and deleting them.

A large percentage of the quest issues we receive are not bugs, but are usually the result of confusion or the result of unintentional player actions. Please double check the quest to make sure you are doing it correctly and remember that when you abandon a quest, you only need to return to the beginning of that step, not the entire quest chain. Make sure the quest items you need are in your inventory, and not your bank. If you are in raid group and the quest is not flagged as a raid quest, you will not receive kill credit or quest item drops. Finally, if your custom user interface is interfering with the quest, then deleting or renaming the WTF, WDB, and Interface folders in your World of Warcraft directory may resolve the issue.

I am having difficulty turning in a guild charter to create a guild. What do I do?

Players are sometimes unable to turn in their signed guild charters to the NPCs to create their guild. Placing the signed charter in your primary bag may resolve this issue and allow you to create the guild.

There are also occasional issues when players attempt to create a guild with a name that was previously in use by another guild which later disbanded. As a potential workaround, select a different, temporary name when you purchase the guild charter, and then change it to the desired name after it is purchased. This may allow you to successfully create your guild with the desired name.

If this does not resolve your issue, please submit an in-game petition and a Game Master will assist you further. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
